Important: For Chat to work for both students and teachers, each user needs to open their profile in ISP Library. The instructions below explain what to do.

Profile requirements for students and teachers (mandatory)
To keep Chat safe, searchable, and easy to use in a school environment, we are introducing strict profile requirements.
Students must have:
• Open profile
• First name + last name (full name)
Optional for students:
• A profile photo (recommended, but not required)
Teachers must have:
• Open profile
• First name + last name (full name)
• Profile photo (required)
We strongly recommend using the official school portrait photo (the annual school photo session used for yearbooks/albums). This helps students quickly recognize and find the correct teacher, and reduces the risk of confusion or contacting the wrong person.
Why full names and photos are required
These requirements are not about collecting personal data — they are about identity clarity and safeguarding inside a school community:
• Accurate identification: Students often share similar first names. Full names reduce mistakes and prevent messages being sent to the wrong person.
• Safer communication: Clear identity signals make it harder for anyone to impersonate a staff member or appear under an unclear profile.
• Faster search and support: When profiles are complete, students can find teachers quickly, and teachers can verify who they are speaking to.
• Professional school standards: Staff photos create trust, clarity, and accountability in student-teacher communication.
No phone numbers needed
Please note: phone numbers should NOT be added. ISP Library is designed to be fully functional without phone contacts, and we do not require unnecessary personal information. Communication should stay inside the platform, where it is protected and school-appropriate.
Accounts that do not meet the requirements (open profile + correct identity information) may be removed or permanently blocked to protect the safety and integrity of the school environment.
